Introducing Sunkissed

11 Jul

I just finished knitting my shawl, which is now named Sunkissed, somehow it just seems like the appropriate name. It’s just off the needles, so is still unblocked and is modeled by my – very happy looking – 5-year old! 😉 So, obviously, it’s too big for him!

Here are a few pictures, it will now be tested and should be published in about 10 days.

Bluefin Tuna

8 Jul

I just made a super cute amigurumi tuna! It was a test for the designer, I love how it turned out! Pattern is here.

Heiner Shawl Progress

7 Jul

I’m progressing on my shawl and I like it so far. I’m still unsure what the edge will look like, one certainty only is that it will be in yellow!

New Shawl Project

5 Jul

While my cable shawlette is being tested, I started working on a new shawl design. I’m designing it as I’m knitting and it already looks different from the idea I started with. It’s a two-colour shawl, knit in garter stitch with lace-y areas. The shawl is knit from the top down and gets more lace-y towards the bottom.

Here’s a little preview

Cable Shawlette to be Tested

2 Jul

My Cable Shawlette pattern is now ready to be tested. If you are interested in being a tester, check here.

I still need a name for it, any suggestions, fire away!

Quite Proud…

2 Jul

For two reasons, first it’s crochet and it’s a new craft to me and, second, I sewed the lining inside the bag and that is quite a challenge for me! I really like the finished product, a cute little bag! It was a test for the designer.
