I decided to sell 4 of my shawl patterns as a set, The Shawl Collection. It is composed of the Ederra Shawlette, the Sunkissed Shawl, Twirly Wrap and the Agate Capelet.
Twirly Wrap
14 JulThis pattern is available in English and German
Deutsche Anleitung sind auch dabei!
A simple shawlette, knit sideways. It can also be used as a scarf.
I designed it to use only one skein of sock yarn. It is an easy knit with a simple cable border, perfect for cable beginners.
Instructions are also given to knit it with less than a skein by using exactly the amount of yarn available.
This pattern will work well with all kinds of yarn: plain, variegated or striped.

Cable Shawlette to be Tested
2 JulMy Cable Shawlette pattern is now ready to be tested. If you are interested in being a tester, check here.
I still need a name for it, any suggestions, fire away!
A Very Bright Shawlette
26 JunI just blocked my Tausendschön shawlette. The least you can say about it is that is is bright! No worries though, I love bright and colourful.
I will write the pattern with some modifications and re-knit it in a plain colour to show off the pattern better. The pattern is thought especially for one skein of sock yarn.
Here are a few pictures
Working on a Shawl Pattern in Tausendschön
18 JunAnd here is a little preview, the body is in garter stitch and it has a cable border.
I’m using a Tausendschön hand-dyed sock yarn, the colourway is called Paul Krämer.
Introducing My New Pattern: Candy Toes
20 AprMy Candy Toes pattern is now published on Ravelry.
Edited: this pattern is now available in French too
Modèle désormais disponible en français !
I designed these socks for those who are not keen on Fair-Isle knitting, so that they can enjoy colour-work anyway. Thanks to the slipped stitches, only one colour is ever worked on a particular row, making them particularly easy and quick to knit.
Really, believe me, they ARE easy!
More details on the pattern are available on Ravelry:
Sizes
Size 1: Children M/L – Circ: 13.5 cm/5.3”
Size 2: Women S/M – Circ: 18 cm/7”

Size 4: Men M/L – Circ: 22.5 cm/9”
New Pattern: Agate Capelet
25 MarI just published my new capelet pattern, Agate.
It is made out of two different colour-ways of sock yarn. I designed it specifically with the Zauberball in mind, but any sock yarn with long colour repeats will have the same effect. Of course, you can also use two plain colours. It is named after the stone agate. A geologist pointed out to me that it looked like an agate, so Agate it had to be.
Here are a few pictures, including an agate, so you can see the likeness.
The Agate Capelet is also part of The Shawl Collection.

Textured Socks Up for Testing
22 MarA quick edit, these are now published, details here.
I just finished writing the pattern for these socks, I still haven’t found an appropriate name so, for now, they will go by “Textured Socks”.
They do not require any fair-isle, the colour-work is achieved by slipped stitches.
If you are interested in testing this pattern, check here.
Agate Capelet is up for Testing
19 FebA few pictures of my latest design, a capelet. It is named after the stone agate. A geologist pointed out to me that it looked like an agate, so Agate it had to be! It is now up for testing, check here if you are interested and reply in the thread.

Introducing Loki Baby Set
12 FebI have finished the hat to match my baby vest and decided that that would be it for the set: a vest and a hat. I am naming it Loki, after one of my friend’s baby boy born last September.
Here are the first pictures, it still needs blocking, but it should give you a good idea. I now need to work on sizing and pattern writing before getting it tested.
This version is size 3 months
The Vest is Ready, but…
7 FebOK, now that I have finished the vest, I realise that I would like to do the hat differently and the booties possibly too. Or, maybe I will have socks instead of booties. The different possibilities are dancing in my mind and I’m just not sure right now. I will get working on a different hat pattern right now and will decide once it’s done whether it is booties or socks.
Here’s the vest finished, although it is still unblocked.
Vest Preview
5 FebA sneak preview at my new baby vest pattern. I started knitting today. I think it’s turning well…
And we Have a Hat
4 FebThe baby set’s hat is just finished, I can now get working on the vest. I decided that the vest would be in a plain colour matching the booties and hat as I think it would be a bit too much to have three pieces in this same yarn.
Here are a few pics, I don’t have a baby at hand for modeling, so this baby does a lot of the modeling around here!
Working on the Hat of my New Baby Set
1 FebI have started the hat that will go with the baby booties I posted about a couple of days ago. It is made in the same sock yarn. I really love working with this yarn, it has bamboo in it and is so soft and pleasant to work with.
The completed set will also have a little vest. Stay tuned…
New Baby Pattern
29 JanJust a quick preview of a baby pattern I’m working on at the moment. Can you guess what it is?
What I can share is the choice of yarn; I’m using a beautiful bamboo blend sock yarn from Schoeller + Stahl.
