Who is Corinne?
Corinne’s passion for yarn started around age 8 when she started to knit together with her grandmother, mother and sister. Today, she especially loves to design with sock yarn. Although French, she lives in Germany with her English partner and their two boys, where she can fully put her second passion – languages – to the test.
Her patterns can be found on Ravelry on the Corinne’s Knits designer page and some also on Knit Picks, Petite Purls and in Yarn Forward and Knit Magazine.

from Alice.
Hi Alice, if you look under the Cowboy Booties post (http://corinnesknits.wordpress.com/2010/01/13/cowboy-booties-pattern-is-available/), there is a “Buy now” button under the pictures, it should take you to a page where you can buy it with Paypal. Let me know if you’re having trouble and we can figure something out
Hi Corrine, I home you can help me. My mom, knits baby blankets for a charity hospital in the US. She is from learned how to knit in Germany as a child. She has a hard time understanding English patterns and I am looking for knitting patterns for baby blankets in german. Any idea where I can find something like this? I live in the US and thought it would be easy to find. Thank you
There is a yarn company called DROPS, I think they are Norwegian, that offers a lot of free patterns in many languages. Here, I have done a quick search for you for knitted baby blanket patterns and set it to German and found a lot. I can’t save the search but, click on this link, and on the left hand side:
At the top, select “Stricken”
In the drop down menu below “Hauptkategorie”, select “Baby”
In the search field “Stickwort suchen:”, type: Decke (blanket)
Click “suchen” (search)
This should give you all the baby blanket (Decke) patterns available from this company, there are lots.
Hope that helps!
Corinne
