I gave in the temptation and knit a pair of Skew for myself. I love this pattern, innovative, interesting, fun, well written. Here is my version, in Schoeller+Stahl Fortissima Socka Mexiko Color
It’s Really Looking Lovely!
21 AprI really like the colour combination, and the Knit Picks yarn (Felici) is a joy to knit, super soft!
Introducing My New Pattern: Candy Toes
20 AprMy Candy Toes pattern is now published on Ravelry.
Edited: this pattern is now available in French too
Modèle désormais disponible en français !
I designed these socks for those who are not keen on Fair-Isle knitting, so that they can enjoy colour-work anyway. Thanks to the slipped stitches, only one colour is ever worked on a particular row, making them particularly easy and quick to knit.
Really, believe me, they ARE easy!
More details on the pattern are available on Ravelry:
Sizes
Size 1: Children M/L – Circ: 13.5 cm/5.3”
Size 2: Women S/M – Circ: 18 cm/7”

Knit Picks Independent Designer Program
19 AprI was super happy to find out that my Agate Capelet was pre-approved for the Knit Picks Independent Designer Program. This means that I now need to re-knit it in Knit Picks yarn to finalise the submission. I chose their sock yarn Felici for this pattern as I think it will work very well.
I have just started and it looks great so far, love it!
Une Souris Verte
14 AprThere is a kid song in French called “Une souris verte”, which my boys love, we sing it every evening at bed time.
It’s the story of a green mouse (souris verte). Connor requested that I knit him a green mouse, so here it is.
Tabi Toe-Up Socks
13 AprI’ve just knit these socks as a test for a fellow designer and friend Shirley (Jardinrouge on Ravelry, her designer page is here). I love this pattern! It’s very easy to knit and customizable. I have made the leg part shorter than what the pattern calls for as I wanted a really low pair. I will be knitting more of these with different types of yarn. They are also a super quick knit.
A Photo Shoot for Spring Has Sprung Hat
11 AprToday, I finally had a decent photo shoot for this pattern. Thanks to two lovely children, Marta and Kelvin, who played along and let me take lots of pictures of them wearing the hats.
Here are our best shots, aren’t they cute?!
Pattern can be found here and costs EUR 2.50

A Bit of a Knitting Pause
8 AprUnfortunately, I’ve been having shoulder issues for a while and they have gotten worse recently. That means that knitting had to be put on the back burner.
I have no new designs in the pipeline at the moment, but my textured socks, now named Easy Peasy Three-Colour Socks are being tested. I’m hoping to be able to publish the in about 10 days.
